Introduction

We are two congregations  who recognize the fact that each person who becomes a part of our communities of faith is unique and enriches the life our congregations.

We are two congregations that celebrate diverse understandings of what it means to be a "Christian."

We are two congregations that welcome all people - whomever they are; whatever their life experiences; wherever they find themselves in their spiritual journey - to become a fellow-traveler seeking to know Jesus better and live the things he taught.

Like the earliest Christian communities of faith, we are two congregations that understand the purpose of the Church is to seek a better world through "The Way" of life Jesus demonstrated to his earliest followers.

We are two congregations that focus on Jesus' Great Commandment: "Love God and Neighbor." We believe this focus is the foundation for living God's will for the world - and in God's will we find peace and the opportunity to live life in fullness. We are two communities of faith that have intentionally made the commitment to more fully become Great Commandment Churches.

Each person who comes our way is a Gift from God. Each person provides us opportunity to more fully live into our Mission Statement with better understanding. We welcome the unique contribution each person offers us and look forward to your sharing the journey with the congregations of Fort Branch First Church and Blythe Chapel!
